# How to Install?
STEP 1: you need to identify the phase of your main distribution box/circuit breaker/fuse box, whether it is using single phase or 3 phase.
But, how to identify single phase? very easy...
a. look at your fuse box, the fuse support one to two wires only. then this is a single phase.
NOTE: Many of the residences in the North American and European regions use single-phase alternating current electric power supply, which is typically used for powering up lights and household appliances
b. Once you identify your house or premises wiring system is a Single Phase, you now have the opportunity to start saving each month. You do not have to sacrifice your comfort. No need to change your electrical equipment or wiring modification ,no need for maintenance, ALL you need to do is install these Mini Sun Power Save alone! Plug it to a eletric socket nearest to your distribution box. DONE!
How to identify 3 phase?
You can identify 3 phase wiring using these 3 methods: one of it could be seen in your premises
1. Look at your fuse box, you easily see 3 wire (red, yellow, blue)
2. or, when you see, 3 main switch combined
3. when you open your distribution box/fuse box you can see the 3 color wires in it.
Note: If your Distribution Box (DB) / Circuit Breaker only have one key switch only (usually it is red) and when you open a DB, inside there is available 3 colors: red, yellow, blue then it is also 3 Phase.
Installation for Phase 3:
Install a Power Saver unit on each phase of each Phase 1 (red)
Phase 2 (yellow), Phase 3 (blue). This means 3 units of Mini Sun Power Saver
is needed.
You may need someone skilled electrician for the installation of
3 Phase as the socket or power point for each phase should be identified prior to
install the power saver whether it is in Phase 1, 2 and 3. This is to
avoid all Power Saver unit mounted on the same phase (redundant).
Alternatively, you can also add sockets (power point) that may be installed
near the DB / Circuit Breaker.
1.) Do not share the outlet with other electrical appliances or use 'extension cord'.
2.) For safety, please wait 10 seconds after turning off the power saver switch before unplugging it from the socket (as the device temporarily store electrical charge).
